I am more than my work. I am someone who appreciates life, nature, and the people I love, including my family and friends. I like to see the positive side of every human instead of judging. I am not perfect but try to give the best of me everyday in everything do. I love my job because it give me the opportunity to make a difference in the community..

Q: Please tell us about your current career and what you love most about what you do?
Currently, I am the Family Engagement and Community Liaison at the Latino Education Institute/Worcester State College. I love that I have the opportunity to work with the community in areas of education, Social justice, and health. My goal is to empower as many parents and community members to be successful in all of those areas.

Q: What is your favorite restaurant in Worcester, and what is your favorite dish?
Worcester has several good restaurants. Some of the ones I really like are the Mercantile for their their pizza and drinks, Bocado for the tapas and atmosphere, and The Sole Proprietor for the seafood and ambiance.

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve ever met?
My mother. She taught me resilience and faith in who I am and to be a good human being.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Several places in Europe because I like to learn more about cultures and customs around the world.

Q: What is your go to band when you can’t decide what to listen to?
ABBA

Q: What is your best advice?
To enjoy life as much as you can and not get stuck in the past or negative experiences that can keep you away from the good things in life.

Worcester Historical Museum

Q: Choosing anyone alive and a non-relative with whom would you love to have lunch, and why?
Jennifer Lopez, because she is a talented actress and business woman, but at the same time very sensitive to daily demands with family and herself.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Traveling around the world

Q: What is something interesting that most people don’t know about you, even your friends or family.
That I like to talk to trees and nature.

Comfort, security, space.

I think Worcester is a great place to live; the diversity, culture and opportunities to grow in career field.

The earthy fresh scent that fills the air when it rains.
