I live in Shrewsbury, and I am a mom to Andrew, who is a Junior at Shrewsbury High. I am married to Jim who is a sports photographer and co-owner of a Food truck, Shishkaberryes. I grew up in Dudley, went to Shepard Hill and graduated from Boston College with a Math Degree. I got my first job in Worcester at State Mutual as a Systems Analyst. From there, I went to L.R. McCoy in downtown Worcester for 18 yers until they were forced to close in 2012. From there Henry Braverman started Waterville Supply with a small team from L.R. McCoy. I am an avid Boston sports fan, especially the New England Patriots!
Q: Please tell us about your current career and what you love most about what you do?
I am the VP of Operations at Waterville Supply, a flooring and fence distribution company. I love meeting new people and working with the folks I have known for 20+ years. Our business success is based on our relationships with our vendors and our customers.
Q: What is your favorite restaurant in Worcester, and what is your favorite dish?
Portobellos on Shrewsbury St, which sadly is no longer there. It was where my husband and I had our first date and the first restaurant we took our son too.
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve ever met?
A priest I met in high school, who was a Deacon. He was smart, witty, funny and always had great advice.
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Hawaii, I would love to relax and enjoy the beautiful beaches.
Q: What is your go to band when you can’t decide what to listen to?
Zac Brown Band, because they’re a cross between and rock and country.
Q: What is your best advice?
As I tell my son everyday before he leaves for school, “Be good” and he finishes with “and kind always.”
Q: What is one of the top three items on your Bucket List?
Vacation at a working Dude Ranch in Montana
Q: What current/former local business makes you the most nostalgic about Worcester?
Gilreine’s, owned by my uncle, was a Steak House back in they day. I have fond family memeories there.
Q: Choosing anyone alive and a non-relative with whom would you love to have lunch? Why?
Jon Bon Jovi, grew up listening to him
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Still working at Waterville Supply and finding a little more time for golf and the beach.
Q: What is something interesting that most people don’t know about you, even your friends or family.
I wanted to compete in the American Gladiator show in the 90’s.

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about Worcester?
Not just one thing but finally seeing the revitalization of Worcester. It has been a long time coming and finally seeing it come to life is very exciting!

The smell of a new Christmas Tree

My son, I want to be the best role model for him.
