My name is Ken Patton, I was born and raised in Hudson, MA. Although not original to the City of Worcester, it has been my home for the last seven Years. After graduating from high school, I enlisted in the United States Navy. I served from 1994-2004. I trained as a shipboard firefighter. After graduating from my training school in San Francisco, I was sent to serve on an Aircraft carrier (USS Independence CV-62) stationed in Yokosuka Japan. After serving on the aircraft carrier, I was transferred to a destroyer (USS O-Brien DD-975). I served on that ship for three years. My final duty station was as a Navy Recruiter here in New England. My office was in the city of Leominster. That was my last stop for the Navy. I was Honorably Discharged in 2004. I then began working for a fire equipment maintenance company out of Waltham, Ma (Keane Fire & Safety). We serviced all types of commercial building fire safety equipment (fire extinguishers, fire suppression systems, and emergency lighting). I worked there for almost fifteen years. I’m currently getting a new company up and running, and I’m very excited to see it grow every day.

Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My entire family is from Massachusetts. Both my parents are from Stoneham MA. They moved to Waltham after getting married, then moved to Hudson when my older sister was born. My mother was a bookkeeper, and my father was a mechanic. He owned his own gas station in Marlborough, MA. I have an older sister who still lives in the Hudson area. She’s married and has no kids.
