I was born and raised on the beautiful island of Jamaica, and I moved to Worcester in 2016 for a job opportunity. I am the sixth of seven children, and I happen to be the youngest girl. Growing up, my parents raised us in a loving Christian home, where they instilled important values in all of us. They taught us the importance of honesty, giving back to the community, and valuing people.
I attended an all-girls high school in Jamaica called The Queens School. After that, I transitioned to The University of the West Indies, Mona, where I pursued my passion for psychology. I obtained my BSc in Psychology with a minor in Criminology and later earned my MSc in Applied Psychology. Recently, I achieved my Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology, focusing on child and adolescent psychology. Additionally, I am a certified speaker, trainer, and coach through Maxwell Leadership.
I love spending quality time with my family, serving in my church and community, exploring new destinations through travel, singing, and writing, and immersing myself in the wisdom found within the pages of captivating books.

Q: What is your favorite restaurant in Worcester, and what is your favorite dish?
There are so many amazing restaurants in Worcester! I love Unique Café and Livia’s Dish.
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve ever met?
I have met a lot of interesting people, but last year in August at the IMC, I met a gentleman by the name of Danny (his Instagram handle is official_one_arm_fighter). His story is incredibly inspiring, and it reminded me that the only person who can limit yourself is you.
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Jamaica! It is home.
Q: What is your go to band when you can’t decide what to listen to?
I don’t have a favorite band, but I absolutely love listening to gospel and cultural reggae music. It just hits the right spot for me.
Q: What is your best advice?
Focus on yourself. Many times, we often find ourselves fixating on others, completely overlooking the chances to prioritize our own growth and development. It’s easy to get caught up in the lives of those around us, but in doing so, we miss out on valuable opportunities to invest in ourselves.
Q: What is one of the top three items on your Bucket List?
I would love to go on a safari ride, but of course, safety is a top priority.
Q: What current/former local business makes you the most nostalgic about Worcester?
Downtown Worcester especially during Christmas.
Q: Choosing anyone alive and a non-relative with whom would you love to have lunch? Why?
My mom, who is unfortunately no longer with us, is someone I deeply miss. As I continue to grow and develop, I find myself realizing that there are countless questions I wish I could have asked her, but never had the chance to do so.
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
I can envision myself creating an even bigger impact, both within my local community and on a global scale.
Q: What is something interesting that most people don’t know about you, even your friends or family.
This one is a bit challenging because my family and close friends practically know everything about me. However, outside of that circle, not many people are aware that I was the first runner-up for the St. Mary Festival Queen in Jamaica back in 2008.
Q: What 3 words or phrases come to mind when you think of the word HOME?
Peace, Safety, Love
Q: If a motion picture was made of your life, what actor/actress would you choose to play you?
Jill Scott
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about Worcester?

Q: What is your favorite smell?
I love Vanilla and Coconut!
Q: Who inspires you to be better?
