My name is Alicia Haddad, and I am the Founder, Owner and Chief Operations Manager of Alicia’s Spice Co. in Worcester, Massachusetts. I am the proud manufacturer of healthy seasoning blends and rubs. Alicia’s Spice Co. is a certified, consistent, brand that provides the consumer with real products. What you see on the packaging ensures the consumer they can trust what they are eating. The sole focus is on healthy, wholesome, allergen friendly products, which are safe and enjoyable for all. Since 2015, I have taken my company and products, Certified Gluten Free, Kosher, Keto, Vegan and Women Owned (State, Nationally and Federally Accredited). These accreditations and certifications are something I am immensely proud of as a self-made entrepreneur.
My love for creating and providing consumers with healthy, allergen friendly food products is something I am wildly passionate about and why I founded my business. When I am not spending too many hours at work, slinging spices at events or visiting new locations, you can typically find me at the gym. In addition to this, I love cooking and creating new recipes, spending time with my family, reading an inspirational book and anything outdoors has my heart!
Please tell us about your current career and what you love most about what you do?
I am the lead creator of all the Alicia’s Spice Co. recipes. The best part about what I do hands down has to be, seeing the smile on people’s faces when they try the products or when they find out how many healthy dishes can be created from them. One of my most favorite moments was being at an event and hearing a little girl scream, “That’s the Taco Lady” and run over to me to tell me all about how much she loves making tacos with my seasoning. It is small moments like this that makes what I do worth every minute!
