I was born and raised in Worcester. I attended Notre Dame Academy for high school, Worcester State College for my undergraduate, and Assumption University for my graduate degree. My studies have focused on developmental and clinical psychology. My husband Michael and I have been together since we were teenagers. One would say that we are soulmates. Michael and I, in 2013, decided to go into business, and together we opened M. Pope & Co. Our jewelry store is within the city, and specializes in custom design, engagement, and one-of-a-kind pieces; mostly designed by my better other-half. My passion in life, however, is not jewelry; but helping others. Whether that be through my profession as a clinician, as a volunteer in our community, or the people I meet on various travels around the world.
The movie “Wizard of Oz” has a lot of special meaning to me and my family; and if I ever had the ability to click my heels and say “There is no place like home”, I would proudly be transported from Oz to Worcester, Massachusetts- a place that holds all my loves, memories, friends, and family, and for that, I am blessed.

Please tell us about your current career and what you love most about what you do?
I am a Clinical Counselor in Worcester, working with children. I am also a partner at a retail jewelry business within the city. I am honored to work with amazing youth in our community, especially during times of adversity. I am only the guide. The journey these children often take is not easy; however, watching them persevere, and grow is the most rewarding, and inspiring experience. When I am not with “my kiddos,” I love helping customers at my business especially, when it involves designing, repairing, or buying a piece that creates long lasting memories.
