Hi! My name is Stefanie, I am an Event Planner and Wedding Enthusiast who has been planning parties and gatherings since I was a young girl. I cant get enough of all things weddings and social events and will happily talk about it to anyone who wants to! I was born and raised in Worcester; my ancestors immigrated here from Albania and Sweden. I grew up in the Albanian Orthodox Church and continue to celebrate the rich traditions of Albania that my Grandmother passed down to our family. I had my first job at 14 working as a server in a nursing home and have stayed in the hospitality industry ever since! I am passionate about experiences and memories. While working in a restaurant, I met my husband who was a Chef at the time. He still cooks amazing meals for me, and we have been together for 13 years. We love to travel; we have been to 6 countries together and countless trips in the US. We are proud dog parents to our sweet puppy, Julius.

What I love most is doing what I love! It brings me great joy to be a part of someone’s special day. I am honored to help celebrate them and create a lasting memory.

Via Italian Table- Shrimp Scampi
If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Brazil. My husband’s family lives there, and I haven’t been since 2019 due to the pandemic. I cant wait to go back to feel the warm sun, drink the fresh fruit juice, and eat the delicious homemade food.

Q: What current/former local business makes you the most nostalgic about Worcester?
Crompton Collective- I love seeing the Canal District filled with people, and I adore that store and all its Worcester swag
Choosing anyone alive and a non-relative with whom would you love to have lunch? Why?
Maya Angelou. She has taught me so much through her books and poetry. The chance to feel her magnetic energy, confidence, and wisdom would be incredible.
Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Continuing to honor my passion and calling, wherever that may be.
What is something interesting that most people don’t know about you, even your friends or family.
I love singing. I sing in the car, at home, and as loud as I can when I’m alone.

Its culture and diversity, and how we are celebrating our growing community more. Growing up in this city has helped me to learn and understand all types of people and cultures; it’s a beautiful thing.
