My name is Tom Lindgren. I am the Program Coordinator of the Academic Center for Transtition (ACT) with the Worcester Public Schools. I have worked with the students and teachers of Worcester, the greatest school system in the commenwealth, for 30 years! I am the proud father of two beautiful grown children, Zak Lindgren and Anna Hayden. I am also the proud and loving husband of Daniel Davis. Together we enjoy exploring life in Worcester and surrounding towns, spending summers in Wells, ME, and being with family and friends.

Q: Please tell us about your current career and what you love most about what you do?
I am the Program Coordinator of the Academic Center for Transition, a therapuetic day program meeting the social-emotional and academic needs of WPS students in grades k-5. I love working with such a dedicated staff supporting students and families of Worcester!

Q: What is your favorite restaurant in Worcester, and what is your favorite dish?
Lascala on Shrewsbury Street. Best Chicken Parm in town!

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve ever met?
I have been blessed to meet so many people throughout my life and career. I especially love meeting and knowing people who are passionate about life and their place in the world.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
I have always wanted to travel to Sweden to learn more about part of my heritage. There are also many parts of this great country that I would love to explore.

The Devine Miss M. I just love her wit and talent .

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Happily retired and giving back to the community!

Q: What is something interesting that most people don’t know about you, even your friends or family.
I am an open book, anyone who knows me, really knows me.
