I recently turned 40. I am a proud dog mom and an even more proud Auntie. I grew up in Worcester County and attended college locally at Anna Maria College in Paxton, MA. I’ve seen the community grow and change many times over the years and love being in a position to support the community through my volunteer work with MADD.
Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I grew up in an Irish, Catholic family. I have a large extended family/support network.
Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I began volunteering with Mother’s Against Drunk Driving following a horrific car crash I was lucky to survive. Through this volunteer work I have spoken at schools in Worcester County, served as a victim empathy speaker at court mandated Driver Alcohol Education programs, made an appearance as a keynote speaker at a MADD fundraising event, and in recent years, been very active at the State House lobbying for the all offender ignition interlock bill which passed in November 2020! Being connected to MADD and working to educate folks around the dangers of drinking and driving is my passion, and I am proud to be part of saving lives in Massachusetts.
