I’m a born and raised New Englander from New Hampshire. I’ve lived in Providence, Denver, Boston and now have settled in Worcester and calling this place my forever home. With my husband, we built our own home; a Colonial with a traditional / timeless style. I’m the mother of two young girls, past President of the Junior League of Worcester and Co-Chair of the Patient Family Advisory Council Maternal Center at UMass Memorial Health. I enjoy a nice spa experience, wine and beer dinners; farmers markets and vintage / antique Shops. I’m also a mini art collector 🙂

Q: Please tell us about your current career and what you love most about what you do?
I work for the Alzheimer’s Association as a Senior Manager. I’m incredibly passionate about the work that I do in raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.

Q: What is your favorite restaurant in Worcester, and what is your favorite dish?
I really love Volturno, its a nice atmosphere, the food is good – I enjoy their fichi pizza.

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve ever met?
I’ve had the opportunity to meet many celebrities and political leaders in my career the most memorable would have to be meeting The 14th Dalai Lama, known as Gyalwa Rinpoche.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Ashford Castle in Mayo Ireland – it’s an 800 year old castle that offers a five star experience and as a dream worthy spa!

Q: What is your go to band when you can’t decide what to listen to?

Q: What is your best advice?
Sometimes you have to take a few steps backwards to make leaps forward.

Q: What is one of the top three items on your Bucket List?
I checked it off… becoming an Ironman (x2), escaping from Alcatraz and running the Boston Marathon

Q: What current/former local business makes you the most nostalgic about Worcester?
Lulu’s I’m really going to miss that small café!!

Q: Choosing anyone alive and a non-relative with whom would you love to have lunch? Why?
Reese Witherspoon! I love her style, taste in music and books.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Truthfully, continuing to enrich my life life for my family and continuing to engage in the community I live as a leader.

Togetherness of family, home-cooked meal, memories

I love all the parks and the community feel this city offers
